Deep Autumn Heat: A safe harbor novel Elisabeth Barrett

Lexie Mayers decides there’s nothing sweeter than watching Sebastian Grayson’s mouth devour her coconut cake. He’s hot, he’s hungry and he’s sizing her up like shes the best thing on the menu. But Lexie has been burned in the past and flings just arnt her thing. Too bad Sebastian cant resist a challenge. Worldly, famous, and notorious with the ladies, Seb had planned a weekend of fishing and relaxing with his brothers. Until Lexie, with her kissable lips and frosty get lost attitude, she makes him want to forget his culinary empire and create some magic with her. After he fire up his charm- including challenging her to a televised cook-off to break through her resistance- its now hotter in the bedroom than it is in the kitchen, Lexie isn’t sure whether shes lost her mind or just her heart.

As you start to read this book you can see the author setting up the scene for other books about the Grayson brothers, the book is set in a small town were everyone know everyone else, it has a easy read feel about the book, slow paced relaxed story, nice bit of romance. Lexie’s character has so much going on though, violent ex boyfriend, a new romance, drug bust, jealous competitor, a member of her staff sending threats, maybe its all a bit much for one character in one book, the violent ex would have been enough with more depth i think. But i do love the Grayson brothers and see the potential for future books
