I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after.
I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I’ve poured my soul into my music, but I’ve never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile.
And now I’m going back.
After ten years.
I hope I can explain that after all this time.
I still want her to be my forever girl.
This book is a must read, it is one of the emotional journeys ive ever taken in a book, its heart breaking in parts. Liam and JoJo’s story is one of first love and how their lives were all planed out, until Liam finds a new path, its such a beautiful and well written story.
I have a love for the tattooed rocker bad boy’s in books and Liam doesnt disappoint, hes had the one night stands, faces he cant remember the name of, but know one has ever taken JoJo’s place in his heart.
This story is told from both Liam’s and JoJo’s point of view which is a wonderful way to tell a story you dont feel like your missing what the other person is thinking, by getting both sides of the story.
Forever my girl is one of those book were you will be gasping, crying, cheering, feeling angry (at Sam, didnt like her one bit!) and smiling throughout. I had to read this book in one sitting staying up until 2am, i just had to find out if Liam and JoJo could rekindle there love!
A true page turner of a book highly recommended. Really looking forward to the next book!
