The Dominant (book 2 in the submissive trilogy)- Tara Sue Me

Nathaniel West doesn’t lose control. As the playboy CEO of West Industries, he governs the boardroom during the day; as a strict dominant with exacting rules, he commands the bedroom at night. He never takes on inexperienced submissives, but when Abigail King’s application comes across his desk, he breaks his own restrictions and decides to test her limits. Abby’s combination of innocence and willingness is intoxicating, and Nathaniel is soon determined to collar her as his own. As long as she follows his orders and surrenders herself fully to him, no one will get hurt. But when Nathaniel begins falling for Abby on a deeper level, he realizes that the trust must go both ways – and he has secrets which could bring the foundations of their entire relationship crashing down…

This is the second book in the submissive trilogy, and i must say now ive read this book all the questions i had about The submissive (book 1) have been answered!

The whole story just clicks into place with this book as its written in Nathaniel point of view, so we get the meaning behind the safe word, and the why he does things and the way he does them. Book 1 was great and i loved the story but after reading this book, the story is just so much better.

The sex scenes mean more when you’ve read both sides of them, the emotion between both Abby and Nathaniel is so deep and meaningful when you have read both books.

The sex scenes in this book are erotic, steamy and seem to be in more detail this time around. I loved how Nathaniel, the dom that’s in control in book 1, or so it seemed from Abby’s point of view, was in just as much turmoil with his emotions as Abby, the way he struggled to place what he felt in his mind. The BDSM part of this book seems to be in more detail, i think this is because it is Nathaniel point of view describing them, which just made them more sexy.

Overall a stunning installment in the Submissive trilogy, Great piece of writing, wonderful reading cannot wait for book three.
