Book 2 in The Manhattanites series
At thirty-three, Warner Truman is one of the richest men on the planet, a spa mogul who buys and sells resorts at will. He holds powerful executives’ careers in his well-groomed hands. Nothing is beyond Warner’s reach…until he meets her.
Stunning, tantalizing and perverse, Taddy Brill captivates Warner’s carnal desire like no woman he’s ever met. A self-made millionaire, Taddy is tougher than steel, more brilliant than diamonds and, at twenty-seven, she’s never depended on a man for anything…until she meets him.
The more Taddy plays with Warner’s affections, driving him to erotic heights, the more she is confronted by a dark past. Before she can love him, Taddy must meet her worst fears head-on or risk losing it all, including herself.
Well vajazzle my vajayjay and pour me a glass of champagne, i loved this book!
Whats not to love about this the second Instalment of the Manhattenites, its full of drama, hot sex, romance, tears, and its red with passion.
Warner Trueman AKA Big daddy, is a big guy in all areas *winks* (Anaconda anyone). Hes had a great stable life growing up, he had a very loving wonderful woman in his life, they were married for ten years before she sadly died. Warner knows how to love and be loved.
Warner is only 33 but he is the third richest man in the world so hes had has share of crazies wanting him for his money, so now he needs someone who has there own money, someone who has there own.
In walks Taddy Brill PR and marketing queen, self made she has the beauty to knock men flat, she oozes confidence, and has her own wealth. What Taddy has never had is a stable upbringing with parents that show her love, what s love anyway? Taddy is about to find out.
Taddy’s family are her dysfunctional bunch of friends, but a closer family unit you wont find.
I found the emotion deep in this book with Taddy’s family issues and Warner’s loss of a wife he dearly love from such a young age. Warner was a true gentleman and rock when Taddy confronted her mother, that’s true love if ever i saw it.
Unscrupulous has angst, and fantastic banter between Warner and Taddy.
I love Avery Asters style of writing, her characters are upfront and know what they want, there funny, and damn sexy as hell.
The sex is explicit and provide a great raunchy read.
I love how you get the characters thoughts while they are in a dialogue, and that places are given in such wonderful detail you could be there, it makes Avery’s book unique.
Another fantastic read, I would recommend to all!
Let the vajazzling continue with more form the Manhattenites!
