He’s a movie star sex god. She’s a virgin… and a stripper.
So how did I get myself into this situation, you ask? Simple: desperation. When you’re faced with being homeless and hungry or taking off your clothes for money, the choice is easier than you’d imagine. That doesn’t make it easy, though. Oh no. I hate it, in fact. There’s nothing I’d like more than to quit and never go into another bar again, never hear the techno beat pulsing in my ears again, never feel the lecherous gazes of horny men again.
Then, one day, I meet a man. He’s in my club, front and center. He watches me do my routine, and his gaze is full of hunger. Not the kind of desire I’m used to though. It’s something different. Something hotter, deeper, and more possessive. I know who he is; of course I do. Everyone knows who Dawson Kellor is. He’s People Magazine’s Sexiest Man alive. He’s the hottest actor in Hollywood. He’s the man hand-picked for the role of Rhett Butler in the long-awaited remake of Gone With the Wind.
He’s the kind of man who can have any woman in the entire world with a mere crook of his finger. So what’s he doing looking at me like he has to have me? And how do I resist him when he looks at me with those intoxicating, changeable, quicksilver eyes?
I’m a virgin, and he’s an American icon of male sexuality. I’m a stripper, and he’s a man used to getting anything and everything he wants. And he wants me. I know I should say no, I know he’s the worst kind of player…but what my mind knows, my body and my heart may not.
And then things get complicated.
Loved, loved loved this book!!!!
Such a easy read that just flowed so well, and such a beautiful book cover.
This book was such a nice change, the romance between Grey (great name by the way) and Dawson was just so uncomplicated unlike most books where the relationship is filled with so much pain and troubles.
The only problem in the relationship is the self doubt in Grey, with Dawson’s love he fixes Grey and her mind set to accept who she is, he helps her to find out who she is as a person.
I loved the plot it is filled with such wonderful passion and a great journey of love between two people who where destined to be together.
This book isnt as gritty as some romance novels such as Jasinda Wilder’s Wounded, but its heart felt, touching, at times really frustrating, then its sexy, intimate, and sweet.
The relationship between Grey and Dawson is wonderful there characters are well developed. You cannot help but fall in love with Dawson right for the first meeting in the book, you just know hes not going to be a character that’s full of himself. Hes sexy and buff but not so up himself.
Grey is a wonderful character shes had a very different up bringing from most people, but shes not a shy timid woman who cowers away from life, she wants to make the most of it all. I loved how we got a lot of her back ground to start, it really set the story up well, helped you understand her doubts and how she thinks, as her relationship with Dawson developed
The sex scenes in this story were steamy fog up the mirror hot, and written really well.
This book pulls you in right form the get go, i had to read it in one sitting i didnt notice how much time had passed until i had finished, (Dinner was a little later than expected, lol)
This is just a beautiful story that i would highly recommend.
