Mine (Real #2 )- Katy Evans

the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Riptide” Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . . and now he can’t live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, Brooke is torn away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

This book is one of those that is so sensually charged through every page you are speed reading just to get your Remy fix.

The relationship between Remy and Brooke still lights your kindle on fire, the pages practically pulse with there need for each other. You cannot help but be slightly jealous of Brooke i mean she gets to snuggle, spoon, scent and lick a totally stunning hard muscled sex god every night!

This continuation of the Real series is just compelling and fantastic, we still get lots of the skilled fighter that Remy is in the ring of the Underground, but in this book we get more of Remy’s personal fight with his Bipolar.
How Katy has written these scenes where Remy, Brooke and even Pete, coach and Riley all live with Remy’s illness how they all cope with the different mood swings and the fierceness in the way it effects Remy really tugs at your heart, the whole hospital scene tore me up inside.

Mine is an intense journey that is sexy, sensual, heart breakingly emotional and passionate, when Remy and Brooke had to be apart from each other i thought i might die never mind Brooke. These two characters need each other on such a level, they are like each others air, i just love the intensity.

Remy fights for his living and he fights every day to live on a even level.
I find the way Remy communicates his feeling through music is fantastic, people with Bipolar find it hard to express themselves at times and by telling Brooke things he feels through the music is just beautiful.

This story is told in Brooke’s POV, i kind of missed Remy’s thoughts the story told from his stand point now and then, but really this is my only down point of the book and its such a small thing it hardly even counts. I just couldnt put this book down until i had finished it all and got my hot strong alpha fix.

Another scenting 5 lickable stars from me cannot wait to read Remy now and get his point of view on this very complex and beautiful love story.
