Scarlett is a flippin’ great character shes hot, feisty, she has a sassy mouth, shes strong and knows what she wants out of life. Scarlett has built walls around herself after her douche bag of an ex cheated on her, Scarlett is ok with that she doesnt need or want a man, that is until Mace walks into her tattoo shop looking all toned hot and beautiful, Scarlett can feel those walls crumbling like a cookie.
Mace is retired special ops and has had some heart breaking moments in his life that are not all service related.
Good god Mace can melt the pantie right off you, hes a dirty-talking alpha with a loyal and soft sweet heart, but the pain and guilt he carries around with him is enough to crush a person.
The relationship he develops with Scarlett is awesome it gives Mace the strength to heal and let go of the guilt he holds inside, Scarlett doesnt take shit from Mace she makes him comprehend that he is worthy of love.
Mace shows Scarlett that hes isnt like the douche bag that cheated on her, the over kill with sweetness to win Scarlett back was so funny to read, this pair had some great banter between them there conversations were fantastic to read and the chemistry off the charts, the sexy scenes were melt your kindle hot.
A great read you to get to see two people conquer life’s demons together and find that love can heal above all else.
This book made me laugh and cry and i finished it with a smile on my face, cannot wait to read the next book, the characters are well blended and believable they feel like friends.
