Eversea (Eversea #1)- Natasha Boyd

An orphaned, small-town, southern girl, held hostage by responsibility and self-doubt.

A Hollywood A-list mega-star, on the run from his latest scandal and with everything to lose.

A chance encounter that leads to an unlikely arrangement and epic love affair that will change them both for ever.

As powerful as the pounding surf, as intoxicating as the sea breeze, this is one love affair you won’t be able to forget about…

The cover for this book is just so beautiful, even more so now i know the significance of the glass and turtle.

Jack Eversea is the total package hes a well known movie star with the looks to make any woman swoon, he has a dimple for god sake, every body knows his face.
Jack finds himself lost and in need of a get away from the movie star lifestyle after his onscreen/ off-screen girlfriend is caught cheating on him.
Jack has a tragic unsettled childhood, he has a very loving mother who he does his up most to protect from his crazy paparazzi filled life. I liked how Natasha gave Jack a dark past but it’s not used to define or excuse who he is.

Kerri-Ann is a spunky character she is not at all impressed by the fact that Jack is famous she sees the man he is behind the movie star. Kerri-Ann is a breath of fresh air all wrapped up in a southern package, shes a strong woman although naive at times.
I really liked how she would just stare at Jack because of how beautiful he is not because she was with a movie star, the fact that she became a bit clumsy and forget to breathe.
You can relate to Kerri-Ann shes real, has responsibilities, loves to read (got to love a fellow book worm) She may not have much real-life experience with boys, but she finds plenty of romance in her books.

The love story of Eversea unfolds slowly, Jack and Kerri-Ann trade off favors for each other, she does his grocery shopping he helps with odd jobs in her house, but as the attraction builds so does the chemistry and tension, Jack wants a real woman who is kind and can be herself and doesnt just want to be known for the girl who went out with a famous guy, because of who he is. Kerr-Ann wants Jack because hes beautiful inside and out, but she tries to hold back, what happens when Jack goes back to his movie star life and she is left behind.
When Jack and Kerri-Ann give in and finally make out, then boy does it start to get hot! these guys sizzle.

The writing is brilliant its intelligent, emotional, the characters are believable and realistic, it captures the southern feel perfectly i feel like ive been to Butler Cove.

Eversea is sweet then angsty then steamy hot a great love story leaving you begging for more at the end!
Well worth a read.
