Long live the King . . .
After turning his back on the throne for centuries, Wrath, son of Wrath, finally assumed his father’s mantle- with the help of his beloved mate. But the crown sets heavily on his head. As the war with the Lessening Society rages on, and the threat from the Band of Bastards truly hits home, he is forced to make choices that put everything – and everyone – at risk.
Beth Randall thought she knew what she was getting into when she mated the last pure blooded vampire on the planet: An easy ride was not it. But when she decides she wants a child, she’s unprepared for Wrath’s response – or the distance it creates between them.
The question is, will true love win out . . . or tortured legacy take over?
I love this book and i am glad that we got much more than just Beth and Wrath, although i did love there part of the story and how they worked together to get there life back on track, and LW, beautiful.
I loved all the side stories especially the shadows, i would sell my first born at this time to get my hands on the shadows book!
I know hes the bad guy but i am kind of warming to Xcor and i am wondering where he and Layla might go and how Qhuinn will take the situation.
J R Ward has thrown up lots of question of where the brother hood will go next with this book and how the changes that Wrath set in motion will play out and i enjoyed every page, this has been a little different to the other book but no less enjoyable.
In this book you are gripped, full of emotion, nail biting, laughing, crying, terrified and overjoyed, J R Ward has knocked it out of the ball park yet again.
