Cooper Wilde spent his entire adolescence counting the days until he could escape rural northwest New Jersey. Now at 26, he can’t believe he’s coming back. But his late father’s bar, Haymakers, is in financial trouble and his older brother, Jake, has asked for Cooper’s help.
Riley Smith, 25, is fresh out of her Ivy League MBA program and wants to make an impression on her employer, H & C Bank. Her first solo assignment is a fraud investigation on a business loan they made to Haymakers.
Even though Old Town is less than 90 minutes from New York City, Riley feels like she’s stepped into another world in this remote, one-bar town. Riley can’t wait to do her business and get back to the city as quickly as her sports car will take her…until she meets Cooper Wilde. He’s not like the other guys in this rural town and Riley feels inexplicably attracted to him.
I love books about hot brothers they pull you into there family dynamic, and you get so involved in the outcomes of all there lives it’s just awesome.
This is such a fun story. I couldn’t put it down once I started.
I liked that all four of the brothers are vastly different, Jake the oldest he’s a charmer but a player, Cooper who this book is about is the guy who grew up in country and couldn’t wait to get away from it, Tucker is the broken brother back from Iraq, and Hunter the youngest brother who seems shy and wants to be a cop.
Cooper Wilde wanted to be anywhere but back home in rural New Jersey. He got out became a success on Wall Street he has no desire to go back. But his brothers bar is in trouble so he finds himself back home to help out.
Riley is a investigator for a bank and is sent to New Jersey to the Wilde brothers bar, a chance encounter that will change the way she sees men and both her life and that of Cooper too.
The overall plot was a good one and it grabbed your attention and kept you reading. These brothers have you hooked from the start, and the setting of Old Town just draws you further into the book, it’s absolutely fabulous romance.
There are several sex scenes in the book that are well written but tasteful, sexy hot and sensual.
This book has a happy, satisfying ending and no cliff-hangers.
I cannot wait to get my hands on the next Wilde brother and to start reading the next book.
