I know better than to trust him, that I should never risk my heart. But fierce passion comes at a high price. I grew up believing in right and wrong, good and evil, black and white – that there were some boundaries that could never be crossed. And then I met Tyler Sharp. Bold, charming, and dangerously sexy, Tyler always gets what he wants. But his smile can be deceiving, his dealings sordid, his ambitions ruthless. I thought I was the one woman strong enough to resist him, but our need for each other is too urgent to deny. One look and I’m in trouble. One touch and I’m hooked. One night and I’m his. And once I fall, there’s no going back.
Hot damn this book is burning sexy hot!
So glad I read it on kindle and not paperback as the pages would be burned to a crisp.
Ok let’s start with Tyler, he will make you squirm in your seat with his domineering side, sigh out loud with the tenderness he shows Sloane, and all out swoon with the hotness that flows through his veins, he knows how to show a girl a good time.
But you also get to see another side to Tyler, the way he has set up a home for the women that got caught up in the sex ring and how he helps them get through school and earn qualifications to make something better for themselves makes him even more swoon worthy.
I loved Evan in Wanted but Tyler has just stolen his hotness spot for me, the guy just oozes sexy.
Sloane was a great character, she’s a no nonsense cop who knows what she wants, and she believes in the justice system she works for.
The chemistry between Tyler and Sloane is so tangible you can practically feel it.
Sloane and Tyler are battling their own demons, trying to decide whether or not they trust each other for the most part of this book.
The part nearing the end really touched me when Tyler had the broken watch fixed, I thought that was a beautiful thing.
The plot was great and really pulled you into the story so you had the pages flicking at a great pace.
I think Heated is even better than Wanted and cannot wait to read Cole’s story, the three knights are brilliant.
Another knockout book from the awesome J Kenner.
