Carnage (Carnage #1)-Lesley Jones

I love him, from the instant I set eyes on him when I was just 11 years old I have loved him and nothing will ever change that, he owns me, he owns my heart and he owns my body and no matter how many lies are told, no matter how many people conspire to keep us apart, despite the fame and the distance, we will find a way.

“Georgia Rae, when we made love you used to cry” … He waits for me to sing my bit. I try to swallow down a sob but I just end up singing through it…
“I said I love you like the stars above, I’ll love you till I die”

Carnage is an edgy coming of age love story that breaks all the rules and transcends the decades. Georgia and Sean’s story will stay with you long after you read the final word.
An emotional, smoking hot, gut wrenching read.

This is part #1 of a 2 part story but can be read as a stand alone.

This book is a story that passes through all the stages of love throughout Georgia and Sean’s lives.
There is the sweet young love of a eleven year old girl with a slightly older boy, the teenage hormone filled love that follows, the pain of love damaged by lies.
The gut wrenching pain of love that is still forever present even after a break up, the joy of a second chance at your first and only love, and then the ever lasting destroying pain of a lost love.

“Georgia Rae, when we made love you used to cry” … He waits for me to sing my bit. I try to swallow down a sob but I just end up singing through it…

“I said I love you like the stars above, I’ll love you till I die”
This quote is so beautiful and just captures the love between Georgia and Sean.

This book has left me Overwhelmed, Blown away and Speechless, I have laughed, smiled, hated, and cried, boy did I cry, big fat ugly sobbing tears, the ending of this book is just so much for your body and mind to process, I just did not see that coming at all I think I stopped breathing at one point, there’s pain but also love for the relationship that Georgia and Sean shared but by god I so did not want that for them at all.
My poor battered and bruised heart It took a beating, and I’m still trying to process the story and how much I truly loved it.

The characters are just fantastic, all of them played a huge part in the story. The plot was so beautiful and in depth you were part of the story.
Lesley Jones has this ability to make you love a character, hate a character and then fall back in love with that same character over and over again, it is simply amazing.

The only one word to describe this book would be EPIC. An epic love story that spanned over 20 years, and brought me to my knees at the end.

This is a unmissable, gut-wrenching and epic love story and a must read.

Reader warning do not read without tissues!!!!
