Grind (verb): to weaken or destroy gradually
Macy Carrington is not the woman I once thought her to be.
What she does not allow her heart to feel, she gives with her body. The sex between us is explosive and depraved. I’ve done things with her that would never have crossed my wildest imagination, and I can’t ever seem to get enough.
But now I want more from her. I want to figure out her dark secret, expose it and then help her to heal from it. I know, without a doubt, that Macy is capable of love, and I will grind her down until I make her accept the truth of it.
Grind (verb): to wear down, polish, or sharpen by friction
Cal Carson is not the man I once thought him to be.
Strong, determined, sexy as hell and a beast in the bedroom. He is every woman’s fantasy.
He is my fantasy.
But no matter how hard Cal tries to grind me down, my heart and secrets are mine and mine alone.
I loved this book way more than the first, Clash just wet my appetite for this couple, god they have such a awesome chemistry and the sex is so off the charts hot and dirty i loved it!.
Sawyer Bennett never lets you down with the sexy, kinky, dirty, of her characters each and every book just seems to be that bit more dirtier and sexual, brilliant.
Macy Carrington and Cal Carson dont really like each other but hell fire they are in serious lust with each other.
For all the hot sexiness in this book, there is a under lying wonderful story Macy has this huge issue that is lingering in the background, your not quite sure exactly what it is but you get a feeling that its going to be BIG when the reveal happens. Macy has this broken quality to her, her diray entries are so heart breaking at times, i cannot wait for her to really let Cal in and help her heal.
Cal is such a sweet heart, Saint Cal has a wonderful soul but damn hes dirty in the best of ways.
The ending nearly choked me, bloody hell talk about abrupt and damn i want to know were Macy and Cal’s story will go next!
5 star read again another brilliant book from Sawyer Bennett
