Sacrifice – Adriana Locke

My life changed forever the night my husband died.
I was left with a shattered heart, a heap of bills, and our daughter, EVERLEIGH. I don’t want to rely on anyone, least of all CREW GENTRY. He’s my first love and the man who almost destroyed me, the man who has let me down every time I’ve needed him.
But when tragedy strikes a second time, Crew just might be my only hope.

My life changed forever the night my brother died.
I was left with a guilty conscience, a pile of mistakes, and little else. I take care of JULIA GENTRY, my brother’s widow and the love of my life, and their daughter. I know she doesn’t want my help, but she gets it anyway. I owe her that.

When another disaster hits, I’m given the opportunity to make things right. I’m taking it. I’m willing to sacrifice it all.

MY REVIEW
This book is one of those blow you away tales that is crammed full of emotional aspects that put your whole body through the wringer. Be the emotion happiness, sadness, forgiveness or love, this book had them all in bucket loads.
Crew Gentry is not your typical book boyfriend, he is flawed, carries enough guilt on his wide shoulders to crush him. But deep down this man is a true hero, he is the guy you want in your corner when the world has turned to shit.
Sacrifice is a raw story of tragic beauty, the ultimate sacrifice in knowing what love truly is.
I really loved Ever’s character she was the glue that kept Julia and Crew in each others lives when otherwise there friendship/relationship had gone sour.
LOVE REQUIRES SACRIFICE, and damn did Crew give his very body and soul in sacrifice for his two girls. That very last page before the prologue i was sat in utter disbelief shocked to my core sobbing like a baby, not knowing if i could actually take in what i had just read ‘The End’ Im sat thinking what the hell has this author done!.
Even as i read the first prologue i still couldnt get myself together, then came the second prologue and i finally took a deep breath as a smile spread across my face, and i saw the genious behind Adriana Locke’s writing.
To me this is the sign of a great author, if someones written words over a page can make your moods change within the turn of the next page, it make the reading experience that much more wonderful.
This story by far surpassed anything i expected. This book will mark your soul.
