He’s pole position…
Carson Matthews, the hottest driver ever to hit the MotoGP circuit, is living the carefree, celebrity lifestyle. With little to worry about, other than keeping himself top of the leader board, his favorite weekend pastime is visiting a certain blonde at Angels Gentlemen’s Club.
She’s a pole dancer…
Emma Bancroft, a part-time lap dancer, is just trying to make ends meet. Her responsibilities weigh heavily on her, as does the secret she’s kept from everyone for the last two and a half years.
The two of them are poles apart.
There wasnt anything i didnt like about this book, the unique plot drew me in and held me captive for the duration of the story.
Carson Matthews is a hot, sexy, hunk of gorgeousness and hes a MotoGP racing driver to boot. but let me tell you right now he was not the self centered look at me and all my greatness character that you get in most books. This guy has such a big heart and so much respect for others which showed everytime he visited Emma in the club she worked in. the only time Carson showed that he did have a ugly side was further into the story but i guess he could have been justified for his behavior and i did forgive him very quickly (just like Emma)
Emma is a wonderful character, she has had some big struggles but has stayed strong and worked a job she truly hates because there is one light in the darkness of her job and that is Carson.
The relationship between Carson and Emma is so beautiful, he make her feel worthy at the times they are together even though her job makes her feel less worthy than most. Carson shows her kindness and gentleness.
All in all this book made me laugh, love, hate, sob like an idiot and left me with a smile on my face at the end, great piece of emotional writing from Kirsty Moseley.
