Ryan Trexler has devoted his entire life to his family’s security business. And now that he’s slated to take over the reins for the company, RT knows that his life is only going to get more complicated. Add in the fact that he’s lusting over one of the men who works for him and RT knows that there are some serious tough times ahead.
Zachariah Tavoularis—nicknamed Z—has been employed by Sniper 1 Security for a decade. Despite being known as the most loyal enforcer outside of family, Z also has a reputation of being quite the playboy, though that was based more on rumour than fact. When an assignment comes up that forces the two of them to work together, Z knows it’s time to show RT he’s not the man he thinks he is.
Can they complete the mission, despite the fact that it puts them in a tenuous situation, bringing them closer than either of them ever expected? And will Z allow RT to convince him that they can never be together, no matter how much they both want it?
Nicole Edwards has this great skill that every time she writes a book, she makes you fall in love with each and every character, she captures your attention with every plot and she write M/M books like a champ.
Never say never gives us insight to RT, who he is, what makes him tick, why he is the way he is, being so closed off from relationships. RT has been hurt and betrayed in the past which makes him withdraw into himself and focus on work.
Z is a fantastic character hes smart and funny quick witted and such a likeable man, he goes after what he wants, which is RT. Z is a perfect opposite match for RT, they bounce off each other and their banter is great.
The sex scenes are awesome hot, two alpha men pushing for dominance, but i also found the sex scenes to be so very emotional as RT and Z opened up to each other and stopped fighting the attraction they had for each other.
Never say never is emotional, angsty in parts, action filled, sexy, the plot keeps you engaged till the end.
I loved the ending to this book, in the office in front of the whole Sniper 1 team, it brought a tear to my eye. Big bad closed off RT showing his feelings for Z in such a beautiful way.
I think it is wonderful how Nicole weaves other characters through the story to keep you wanting more from each and every one of them, Making you need the next book like its your next fix.
This is a fantastic 5 star book.
