Saving Samuel (Manchester Ménage Collection Book 1) – Nicole Colville

Police officer Milo and Fireman Daniel have been dating off and on for six years, but it always seems more off than on. Just when their relationship reaches breaking point, someone enters their lives, unknowingly helping the confused couple work through their differences.

Falling in love with the man Daniel rescued and who Milo is investigating as a potential arson suspect isn’t a conventional start to any relationship, especially one which includes a mysterious blond who’s afraid to stop running. But they both see what didn’t work out as a couple, could work out as a ménage.

Daniel and Milo unite to help save Samuel, but quickly realise he’s not the only one being saved.

With so many obstacles in their way threatening to destroy the future they desire, all three have to fight to create a bond too strong for anyone or anything to break.

MY REVIEW
I enjoyed this book, the plot was good although i did feel it had a moment in the middle were it seemed to drag on a bit.
I really like Daniel and Samuel as characters, Milo i had to warm up him him as the story progressed but by the end of the book he was level pegging with Samuel and Daniel.
I found the way that Samuel fit into Daniels and Milo’s relationship to be well written, Daniel and Milo had tried to be happy together for so long but it always came to them ending it between them, only to be drawn back together a few month later. Having Samuel join there relationship gave them the focus they needed to work together.
I liked the darkness, mystery and deceit that twisted throughout the plot keeping you drawn into the story, making it so much more than just a romance between three people.
I appreciate the time Milo and Daniel take with Samuel, their relationship with him was never rushed. I think this showed their real feeling for Samuel letting things develop at his pace.
Things i felt were glossed over a bit throughout the story why was Milo so against bottoming for Daniel, why did Daniel feel so disliked by Milo’s family. These things could have been addressed giving the story and characters more depth.
The sex scenes were hot and described well, as a trio these guys were so sexy together.
A good 4 star read.
