He has watched her from afar…
Paul Reed has been raising children since he was a child himself, but he wouldn’t change his life, even if given an opportunity. That is, until one of his brothers says four little words that shake the foundation of his world. “She’s not a lesbian,” shouldn’t be quite so earth shattering, but suddenly the woman he loves is available, and he’ll do whatever it takes to win her over.
They call her Friday, and she’s hiding more than just her name…
Friday has worked in the Reeds’ tattoo parlor for four years. She’s become more than just an employee, and she loves being in the middle of something so wonderful. She treasures the way the Reeds live for one another, and she adores the way they take care of their family. She would do just about anything to be part of it, if not for the fact that she doesn’t deserve a family of her own. Or does she? Friday is punishing herself for her past, and by doing so, she pushes away the one man who could truly love her.
Separately, they’re strong. Together, they’re vulnerable. As a team, they rock.
I loved the direction this book took, i was so glad Tammy didnt go with the second chance love story for Paul and Kelly, even though Kelly has only made small appearances in previous books i really didnt want her with Paul for some reason. The Reed brothers they love hard and they love forever and i just couldnt see that for Paul and Kelly. Paul and Friday have had so much tension building between them throughout the series i actually thought they might combust, so now to finally get their story is just what i have been waiting for.
Paul’s promise is so packed full of the Reed family i feel like i have overdosed on the hotness and love this family has.
Friday has been such a wonderful quirky fun loving character in previous books it was so great to finally get underneath her layers and see the real Friday, i really wanted to know her real name though!
The way that Paul peeled away each and everyone of Friday’s secrets was awesome. I loved Paul and his relationships with his brothers and Hayley.
I thought Paul’s wanted ads for Friday were so cute. Paul is the oldest, the protector brother and his family means everything to him so it was so nice to see him get his HEA. I cannot wait for Sam’s story but then i will be really sad as there is no more Reed brothers left.
