hapter One…

What happens when you don’t know what comes next?

Jacob Wild has had a lucrative writing career, but somewhere along the way he misplaced his muse. Now, unable to put anything on paper, he’s resorted to hanging out in the neighbour hood coffee shop with a pen and paper, trying to find something to spark his creativity again.

That’s when he meets her.

Presley Abrams.

The coral-haired, tattooed beauty with the piercing gray eyes and sweet smile draws his attention in a way no woman before her ever has. Jake soon learns that when he’s around her his world is set to rights once more. Presley sparks something inside him and not just his ability to put words on paper.

But, Presley’s not the easiest woman to get close to and Jake finds himself trying to answer the burning question:

Does happily ever after only exist in fiction?

MY REVIEW
I found myself signing up to read this book blind as it were, i hadnt even read the blurb but just knew that any book written by Nicole Edwards was going to be a good one.
I have never read a book like this it is a book inside a book, as we follow Jacob while he is writing his book, making for a very different read.
The two main characters are both artist, Presley is a tattoo artist and Jacob is a writer, both have lost there inspiration for their art. A chance meeting in a local coffee shop sparks more than their inspiration for their art back.
I found this book to be a slow burn this story is not rushed in any way. Jacob and Presley were very likeable characters and there relationship develops at a slow pace, there are know big angsty moments. I loved the scenes at the cabin.
Jacob and Presley have some great chemistry and the sex is smokin hot, as is the norm for a Nicole Edwards book.
The secondary characters are in a class of there own, Presley’s room mates have a very colourful sex life, mostly in Presley’s living room along with several partners all at the same time!
Nicole Edwards is an amazingly talented writer and i continue to enjoy her work greatly.
