Life is beyond our control. It can bring joy, laughter and happiness, then turn around and rip your heart out of your chest without warning.
Abel Matheson received a cold dose of life’s reality six months ago when the man he loved most lost his fight against cancer.
Free-spirited, easy-going Abel doesn’t know how to cope with the rotting, festering grief growing inside him. What was once an easy life, has become a struggle to put one foot in front of the other.
His grades are slipping, his job is suffering, money is tight, and the nightmares plaguing his sleep are relentless. Something has to give. He can’t keep going like this.
Desperate to end his suffering, Abel falls back on old habits. Self-destructive habits he knows are wrong.
Every time he tries to stand, he ends up face-first in the mud.
On the advice of a counselor, Abel makes attempts to find a support system to help him handle his grief. Unexpectedly, during his quest toward healing, Abel makes a connection with the most unlikely of people.
His mind wants to rebel against the man who stands before him. Run far and fast in the other direction. But his heart forms a bond that annihilates his fear.
Why this man of all people?
Sometimes you find help and love where you least expect it.

This book has been written as a follow-up to No Regrets.
TRIGGER WARNING- self-harm, substance abuse, grief and loss, anxiety, depression

This book follows No regrets, this is Ables journey after loosing Landon. My god the pain this character is in leeches from the pages and hits you in the centre of your chest. His life just implodes in on him the feelings of hopelessness and pain crippled Able to a point he feels he cannot go on.
Kieran is Ables light in the dark he pulls him from his grief. I really liked how Able and Kieran’s relationship developed they went from a loosely formed friendship that flowed so naturally into a real partnership.
There was ugly crying followed be great healing and joy at the ending
A wonderful book.

Wake up and feel the wood! In the first of a series of irresistible standalone romances from New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett, a city girl rediscovers love and lust in the Alaskan wilderness.

Valentine French may be the sassiest dating columnist in New York City, but the abundance of metrosexuals in her adopted metropolis is seriously cramping her style. Where are the beefy all-American boys? Hoping to find some inspiration, Val heads to Alaska, where the men outnumber the women fifteen to one and wrestle grizzly bears for sport. Or so she can only imagine. Suddenly the most eligible bachelorette in a town full of horny lumberjacks, Val is writing her best columns ever. But if she doesn’t get her nose out of her laptop, she just might miss out on Mr. Right.

Logan Burke is the sheriff of the little podunk town that Val finds so charmingly backward. He’s not that different from the guys she’s using for her little experiment; it’s just that one date would never be enough for Logan. As he listens to Val complain about love over beers in the local tavern, he realizes that she can’t see the forest for the trees. Because if she would ever give up her Prada bags and fourteen-dollar martinis, Logan would give her the only luxury that matters: his heart.

This is such a fun, sweet, sexy read.
I loved Valentine and i got a kind of Sex and the city Carrie Bradshaw vibe from her which was awesome. Logan is such a cool charmer and really balances the relationship out.
Sex in the Sicks has a well thought out plot and the characters are very likeable, i really liked the relationship that Val had with Jeremy it made a nice change for the heroine’s best friend/confidant to be a guy.
This is an engaging read with humour fun and sexiness, its a good chill out relax in the bath book another hit from Sawyer for sure.

How far will Trystan go to win the heart of the man he loves? All the way.

Trystan Matherly is conceited, arrogant, and rich. He has plenty of money, athletic ability, and gorgeous looks to keep the men forming a long line just to be with him. Choosing his next lover has been as simple as down-selecting to the hottest candidate.

Until Dakota.

With his sad eyes, full lips, and perfectly sculpted swimmer’s body, Dakota is just the kind of lover Trystan wants. After only one look, he knows he has to have him. Too bad Dakota seems to be totally oblivious to all his charms.

Dakota Jacobson is lonely, tired, and depressed. He’s at Alabama Temple to complete his degree, not to put up with idiots. He works diligently to be as invisible as possible. He doesn’t need friends and he sure doesn’t need lovers…especially not football titans that think they rule the world. Nope; been there, done that.

Until Trystan.

With his sexy eyes, arrogant smirk, and muscled physique, Trystan is just the kind of lover Dakota never intends to have…again. Too bad Trystan refuses to allow him to be invisible.

I am so happy to be catching up with Tank/ Trystan and I adored him in this book. Trystan is a little bit stalker and a lot hot lol. I really liked the way he was so persistent in his persuite of Dakota, but it was done in a cute way making him more adorable.
Dakota is so broken and hurt he’s hiding away from the world barely existing in his own life, my heart literally hurt for him. That is until Trystan pushes his way into his life and shows him that there are things worth living for.
This story is so well written and deals with some really hard subjects but in a sensitive way.
There is so much emotion crammed into these pages I couldn’t contain my tears.
There are funny moments, hard moments, and some very sexy moments and it’s just down right brilliant to read.

Roan Gregory, one of the four owners of Pier 70 Marina, has managed to paint himself as a loner in recent months. There’s a reason for that. And he’s got every intention of keeping that reason a secret. That is, until he no longer has the option.

Colton Seguine, defenseman for the Austin Arrows, has gotten good at keeping the world from finding out that he’s gay. He knows exactly what he can and cannot do. And with whom. That is, until he sees Roan for the first time and all bets are off.

Temperatures soar when this brooding bad boy gets his first taste of this smoking hot hockey player.

Can Roan and Seg push past each other’s defenses? Or, thanks to the way the cards have been dealt, will the time they spent together prove to be just a harmless one night stand?

Let me start by saying i adored this book and even more so when i realised it was a cross over of two wonderful series from this fantastic author.
We get hot athlete from the Austin Arrows series and sexy marina owner from the Pier 70 series win win in my book, i got to fan girl twice as hard.
This book is such a wonderful way to complete this series but it makes me kind of sad too.
Nicole Edwards has such a way of writing that makes every new book your favourite, and this one is no different.
I have waited as patiently as possible for Roan’s story and what a story Colton and Roan had. Harmless is full of secrets, struggles, love, hurt, pain and pure joy and is a must read.

New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett has written her most gripping and poignant tale yet. Provocatively heart-breaking, audaciously irreverent and romantically fulfilling, The Hard Truth About Sunshine exposes just how very thin the line is between a full life and an empty existence.

Despite having narrowly escaped death’s clutches, Christopher Barlow is grateful for nothing. His capacity to love has been crushed. He hates everyone and everything, completely unable to see past the gray stain of misery that coats his perception of the world. It’s only after he involuntarily joins a band of depressed misfits who are struggling to overcome their own problems, does Christopher start to re-evaluate his lot in life.

What could they possibly learn from one another? How could they possibly help each other to heal? And the question that Christopher asks himself over and over again… can he learn to love again?

He’s about to find out as he embarks upon a cross country trip with a beautiful woman who is going blind, a boy with terminal cancer, and an abuse victim who can’t decide whether she wants to live or die.

Four people with nothing in common but their destination. They will encounter adventure, thrills, loss and love. And within their travels they will learn the greatest lesson of all.

The hard truth about sunshine.

Going into this book I already knew that Sawyer Bennett was switching her writing up from the norm, but man it was so much more than i was expecting.
The Hard Truth About Sunshine was a one off story about hope, loss, death and love and it blew me away. within this book there is so much hidden depth there’s a kind of sad beauty to it, each of the main characters lives have taken them through a event making for a big life change, i found myself falling in love with these four amazing characters.
The book is told from Christopher’s POV so we get into his mind in great depth, you can feel the bitterness within him, hes a class A jerk at times and quiet stand offish.
Im struggling to put word to this review to explain how great it is and how it is a must read. The hard truth about sunshine is raw and flawed yet so beautiful you cannot stop reading.

Damian Tate. One look into his sad green eyes and I was hooked. I wanted to be the one to make him laugh, to make him smile. I hadn’t expected him to be the one to make me blush, to make me hot…to make me fall in love. He was my first kiss, my first love, my first everything. I wanted forever with him, but life got in the way.

He enlisted, I went to college, and for years we were never in the same place long enough to pick up where we left off.

Thirteen years after he left, tragedy brings him home. The stoic boy I fell in love with grew into a quiet, dangerous and wildly sexy man. He still tugs on all the right strings for me, but he seems determined to keep me at arm’s-length.

However, when trouble comes knocking at my door, he is the one to put himself between that trouble and me.

Spending time with him might drive me insane, or it might be our second chance at first love.

This book was so emotionally charged my feelings were all over the place. Damian and Thea are like magnets they have this unbelievable connection that holds the together whether they are close or thousands of miles apart. A love that spans miles and time is unbreakable.
There is a true family vibe no matter if they are blood related or not it is heart warming, proving a family can be a group of strangers brought together.
I was on edge about who was the evil doer, I was like it’s him, no it’s not, yes it is then as the story unfolded I was like yes yes I knew it was him. Loved it.
This book is beautifully brilliant.

The name’s Barrett Callahan. Yeah, that Barrett Callahan—the one the press dubbed “Bare” after those naked sexting pictures surfaced. At twenty-five, I was armed with an MBA from Harvard, an executive position at my father’s Fortune 500 company, a penthouse, and a different piece of delectable eye candy in my bed every weekend. I had a life most men dreamed of. But then my father decided to run for president, and my playboy lifestyle became a liability to his campaign that was built on family values. My “makeover” comes in the form of a fake fiancée who I don’t even get to choose–one who is an uptight, choirgirl acting priss but also sexy-as-hell.

My latest relationship had gone down in flames, and I was drowning in a sea of student loans when in true Godfather status, James Callahan made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. Seven figures for seven months on the campaign trail pretending to be the adoring fiancée of his son, Barrett. As soon as he won the election, our engagement would be dissolved amicably for the press, I was free to ride off into the sunset a million dollars richer, and because of the NDA, no one would be the wiser. Sure, I’d never met the guy, but I’d been a theater nerd in high school. I could pull off any role from Lady Macbeth to Maria Von Trapp. But that was before I met my fake fiancé—the infuriating, self-absorbed, egotistical, drop-dead-sexy King of the Manwhores.

The race will be a fight to the death finish, and that’s not even the actual campaign.

This was such a cute read, Addison and Barrett couldn’t have been more opposite but some how they worked.
This book is a easy, fun, sexy read and I loved reading it.
You get dual POV throughout which I really liked, as you get a better perspective on the story that way.
The slow build from fake to real relationship had me hooked, both the main characters are really likeable and I thought the chemistry between them was great.
Overall this is a brilliant read it had lol parts, sexy times a sassy heroine and a playboy hero, along with a wickedly addictive plot, what more could you ask for.

Mallory Sims is late for her first day of work.

After spilling her tea, she discovers she has no gas in her car. Add that her arm keeps sticking to her dress from syrup left on the console of her car, flustered feels like an understatement.

Then she sees her new boss.

Graham Landry is the epitome of NSFW in his custom-fit suit, black-rimmed glasses, and a look so stern her libido doesn’t stand a chance. Being flustered is just the start of her problems.

Her punctuality is only the start of his. With a pink slip in hand, he’s been waiting on his new secretary to show up only to let her go. Then she rushes in with her doe eyes and rambling excuses, smelling like bacon and lavender. The termination paper falls to the side as she falls in his arms.

This is a disaster in the making. Not because of his pinpoint exactness or her free spirit, but because when they’re together, the sparks that fly threaten to burn the whole place down.

There’s something so satisfying about reading a series about hot brothers, each a stand alone but intersect so wonderfully you cannot put it down, Switch is just one of those books. The whole family dynamic is fantastic.
The chemistry between Graham and Mallory is scorching hot, but it is the banter they share in every conversation that steals the show.
Switch is a little angsty, funny, emotional and all around feel good romance.
Adrian’s has a nack of making you fall in love with each couple she writes about, her writing is fantastic she pulls you into each book.
Lovely read enjoyed it very much.

Artist Kellus Hardin let love and loyalty cloud his past decisions, a mistake he definitely won’t make again. Now, lost and alone, he’s left to pick up the shattered pieces of his broken heart while facing the truth of his reality.

Arik Layne exudes power, confidence, and determination. But when an encounter with the guarded artist shakes him to the core and alters all his future goals, he finds more than just his heart on the line.

For Kellus, opening himself to love isn’t an option.
All Arik wants is to make the artist his.
Can love create a masterpiece when it’s painted on your heart?

I found this book to be slow to develop and couldnt wait for the story to get going, but on reflection now thinking about it, Kindle really let us get to know Kellus and Arik in the first part of the book. I felt i knew the men before they got into the nitty gritty of there relationship. Arik is a good main character, he was unrelenting in his pursuit of Kellus, he felt like he knew him through his art that Arik had admired for a long time so poor Kellus had to play catch up to be at the same level as Arik in the relationship.
Painted on my heart is a emotionally rich story that is a slow build but some what engaging, the one thing that did frustrate me so much was the whole John situation. I want to shout at Kellus and shake him many times over how he reacted to John. Maybe its just me but im sure i would have come to my senses and seen him for his true colours long before Kellus did.
Over all a good read, but it didnt have me glued to my book like previous Kindle Alexander books.

This is one intense twisted murder mystery of a story. There is a great plot threaded with crime and suspense, but along side that there is some heat and romance. It’s not sweet hearts and flowers romance so if that’s what your looking for in a read this book will not tick those boxes.
I found some scenes disturbing but they fit in with the plot.
The book is told from Jarrod’s POV, i like to get more than one POV but I found that I enjoyed the read all the same.
This is a dark engaging read.

Reclusive writer Noah Kinley is facing a dilemma: how to confess to the world he’s really the author of a best-selling romance series. For years, his friend Julie has been the face of his brand, but she wants her life back now. Fast running out of ideas for his popular series, Noah wants to break out into other genres. Not that he’s writing much of anything at the moment anyway, thanks to paralyzing writer’s block. With his publisher breathing down his neck for the next installment, he hopes a change of scene will get his writer’s juices flowing again. Desperate enough to try anything, during the holidays Noah swaps his isolated cabin in the woods for a gentrified horse farm.

USAF Major Connor Harrison has chosen forced retirement over facing charges for an unauthorized mission to rescue a buddy from behind enemy lines. No one expects him home for the holidays, and he certainly didn’t anticipate finding a stranger in his house, much less Noah Kinley with his acid tongue and a wry sense of humor that pierces all of Connor’s defenses.

Both men need to figure out what the next chapter in their lives will be—and whether it will include each other.

This book is a nice holiday read and i found both the main characters very likeable men. Both Connor and Noah seem to be at a point in their lives when things could go up or down, they are at a crossroads so to speak. In meeting each other put them on the path for the better.
I loved how they met, Noah in the bath exposed and Connor all up in arms. the chemistry was always there right from the beginning, but Noah and Connor took there time on acting on the attraction they had for each other.
This book is told from only Noah’s POV but i would have love to have had Connor’s POV too, to really get inside his head but thats just me im greedy.
The ending really finished this story off well for me i couldnt have asked for better.
Over all a good m/m romance.

The biggest fight of his life isn’t . . . In the Ring.

The bright lights. The roaring crowd. The chance at a championship belt. The not-so-little secret Liam Shaughnessy—the Bonny Bruiser—is fighting to keep tucked far away.

Liam got the pussy pounded out of him on the mean streets of Cin-city—the other Sin City. The oldest in a Catholic clan where his da never pulled any punches, he went from geek boy to the golden boy of the boxing world care of his fists. Liam’s on the fast track to having it all . . . all except the one man he wants.

Michael Fairweather makes pretending to be hetero goddamn difficult for Liam. The man is blond and beautiful and just so happens to be Liam’s trainer. With a penchant for doing shirtless yoga, giving midnight massages to loosen Liam’s muscles, and sometimes even taking it out in the ring with him. To say Liam has porn-style fantasies about Michael is an understatement.

Michael’s out and proud. Liam’s only proud of what he can do in the ring. He can’t risk his career, least of all for someone unavailable. Michael has a lover. Liam has the lies he lives every day. And when his money-grubbing manager gets involved as the title win approaches, Liam doesn’t know what hit him.

Fight to win. Fight with honor. It won’t be easy, but that’s okay. Nothing worth fighting for ever is.

Rie Warren really gives a perfect mix of romance story and sex to keep you engaged throughout the whole book, i adored everything about this story.
Liam & Michael are great guys and there love story was well written i loved how it unfolded. I really enjoyed the boxer / trainer aspect, we got to very fit committed characters who were both very strong take control in life, but together they blended well. They have a combustible push and pull that has them burning up the sheets.
I will definitely be reading more from this author i liked her writing style and attention to detail, the sex scenes were smoking.
A great book very much enjoyed this read.

L.A. Fiore has a beautiful writing style that fills you with so much emotion and beauty it rocks you to your soul, this book is all that, it is such a fantastic read it takes your breath away.
Sydney has gone through some really tough moments in her life, she found happiness only to have it slip through her fingers. A chance encounter with a hot guy who is rough around the edges but a true diamond at heart changes her broken world, collects the fractured pieces of her, to make her whole again.
I adored Able he is a wonderful character, he’s full of arrogance, sexy and hot. He and Sydney make a fantastic partnership.
Words cannot explain how good a read this book is, a must read.

When you’re a rock god, fame and fortune are your two best friends, but they can be fickle bitches. Everyone wants a piece of me and I have no clue how to deal with it all. I’m being sued, pressured to sign contracts, and fending off rabid women who want to steal my virtue.
Well, not that I really have any virtue, but still… my life has turned completely bat-shit crazy.
That’s why I need Emma Peterson. She got me out of a bit of a jam once, and I know she can do it again. The only problem is that sweet, prim and totally straight-laced Emma doesn’t want anything to do with me. Not professionally, and certainly not personally.
It’s not that I want her in that way. Let’s be realistic… it would take a crow bar of epic proportions to get her to spread those legs for me.
No, I only want her legal expertise and for her to make sense of my crazy world. It’s a good thing I have just the leverage to make her do my bidding, because her refusal is not an option.

*Sexy Lies and Rock & Roll is a hot, romantic comedy stand alone.

Sawyer Bennett is the queen of story telling, her books are entertaining, funny, sexy and captivating.
I adored Evan, he is a hot rocker but not the normal rocker character in books, he is a down to earth and truly a nice guy there is no arrogance about him at all. Evan’s aunt Midge was a great character, she wove her match making spell around Evan and Emma with a wonderful outcome.
I found that Emma and Evan complimented each other well even thought they were night and day in there differences, i thought they were great as a couple.
This is a brilliant light read with funny moments, emotional times and passion in buckets, well worth a read.

He wasn’t going to fail them. Not now. Not ever…
There’s nothing Truman Gritt won’t do to protect his family–Including spending years in jail for a crime he didn’t commit. When he’s finally released, the life he knew is turned upside down by his mother’s overdose, and Truman steps in to raise the children she’s left behind. Truman’s hard, he’s secretive, and he’s trying to save a brother who’s even more broken than he is. He’s never needed help in his life, and when beautiful Gemma Wright tries to step in, he’s less than accepting. But Gemma has a way of slithering into people’s lives and eventually she pierces through his ironclad heart. When Truman’s dark past collides with his future, his loyalties will be tested, and he’ll be faced with his toughest decision yet.

This is one of those books you read that is simply a beautiful story. You connect with the characters right from the start and i adored the sense of family between the friends giving them a stronger bond than if they were blood related.
Truman is complicated, he has the heart of a lion and the soul of a fighter, he protects what is his and will fight to the end to keep them safe.
Tru Blue is sexy, heart warming, heartbreaking, powerful and gritty, just a beautiful read.
Melissa Foster works her magic with words yet again to produce such a brilliant read.

I fell in love with Thomas Wells and knew he was my forever.
I was sixteen when I gave him my heart.
Our love was the kind to last a lifetime.

But Thomas was broken.
The first day we met he told me he was going to become a Navy SEAL.
At nineteen he enlisted.
At twenty he married me.
At twenty five he left me pregnant and didn’t turn back.
I knew he was suffering….
I also knew I couldn’t save him.
He left me broken.
I was scared and alone.
Until I met Ryder St. John a wounded soldier…
He was lost.
I was lost.
Together we made sense.
I fell in love again…
What Ryder forgot to mention was that he held a secret so explosive that it could shatter both our worlds.

I a bit stumped on how i should rate this book, i liked it but didnt love it, the characters were okay but i couldnt gel with them. Im just a little bit disappointed with how everything played out. I didn’t hate it, but i cant say that i loved it either. And what really out a downer on it for me was i saw the plot coming a mile away before it even happened. I found myself reading just to confirm what i had already guessed.
The first part maybe 10% in, i was all for the story my emotions were right there with the characters, but that seemed to fizzle the moment i figured how the story was going to play out.
Ryder, i have to say i liked him better than Thomas.
I dont want to go into too much more detail as i dont want to give anymore of the story away, Halo is a okay read but didnt light me on fire.

He was only there for a business deal…
A couple of days…that was all it was supposed to take for property developer Roman Blackwell to decide if the strip of land just south of Dare, Montana would be the perfect spot for his next luxury resort. He wasn’t interested in repairing his frayed relationship with his half-brother who’d moved to the small town a few months earlier and he definitely wasn’t interested in doing anything more than scratching an itch when he checked out the gay club near his hotel. But when his plans for a quick hook-up are waylaid after he steps in to save a young man being brutalized, Roman finds himself building an emotional connection he never saw coming.

One bad decision changed everything…
College student Hunter Greene has spent 18 months trying to forget the one night he gave in to temptation and made a decision to hide one lie by telling another. But the guilt of knowing he shattered another young man’s life to protect his own secret shame is slowly destroying him and he knows that soon even his spiral into a dangerous pattern of self-destructive behavior won’t be enough to keep his entire world from imploding. But the last thing he’s looking for is someone to save him.

But fate works in mysterious ways…
Forced to return to the town he grew up in, the last person Hunter expects to run into is the mysterious savior who changed everything with one soul shattering kiss. While he can’t deny his attraction to Roman, Hunter knows that he’ll never be free to act on it and once Roman discovers the terrible secret he’s hiding, it won’t matter anyway.

Because some things just can’t be forgiven…

Man this book, it so beautiful, the hurt, pain, love just ooze from the pages, it has all the feels.
I loved the dynamic between Hunter and Roman.
Hunter is so broken and in so much pain i wanted to wrap my arms around him and hug his hurt away. He was confused and beat down by the people that should have cared for him feeling like he had no where to turn, until Roman stepped into his world.
Roman was older, wiser, great business man confident in his own skin, but he too was a broken little boy n the inside.
I loved everything about this book, they way Roman and Hunter worked to heal each other, how Roman built a relationship again with his brother Gray. hunter letting go of his guilt and regaining his friends.
Another brilliant read from this author.

“I knew it would be like this…like finding something I didn’t know was missing.” –Luke

But what happens when friendship just isn’t enough? When a man who’s only been with women begins to crave more?

With one man running from his past and the other running from his future, will finding each other be enough to bring them peace?

Sloane Kennedy never disappoints with her m/m reads and i adored this one.
Luke and gray are the perfect match and they have such a beautiful story, and i loved Reilly!
Things are not easy for Luke and Gray but their story line had me captivated and i finished the book in one sitting. Luke and Gray are very well developed characters and i felt all the emotions running through the book.
Finding Peace ticked all the boxes for a great read for me, and it was hot and steamy too!

I don’t need a fucking babysitter.”

Out and proud NFL star tight end Tad Roarke has success, money, and fame. Just about everything. Except a good reputation. After being outed by the media as a promiscuous cheat, sponsors are dropping him left and right. To make matters worse, he’s been targeted as the next victim of an anti-gay celebrity serial killer. The FBI works with his team to protect him, assigning Agent Bryce Finnegan as his undercover bodyguard. But Tad doesn’t like Bryce from the get-go. The fed thinks he’s a spoiled brat. Maybe he’s right. Regardless, Tad doesn’t plan on proving him wrong, and he’ll do anything to make Bryce’s job even more difficult. Still, as much as he hates him, he can’t deny the guy’s hot as hell…and he wouldn’t mind passing a few balls around with him in the sheets.

“I don’t get paid enough for this.”

Agent Bryce Finnegan is no stranger to undercover work. With a background in busting drug cartels, he’s used to his life being on the line. He’s not used to putting up with spoiled rich kids who don’t realize how good they have it. When he meets Tad Roarke, he expects him to be a jerk. And he’s right. But the more time he spends with him, the more he realizes that all Tad’s attitude is little more than bravado. He’s not an asshole, and the media has twisted more than a few facts to tarnish Tad’s reputation. Now Bryce isn’t just worried about protecting this guy from a serial killer, but about falling in love in the process.

Tight End is a stand-alone gay romance with a HEA and no cliffhanger.

There seems to be a big mixed bag of reviews for this book from what ive seen, im defiantly in the loved it camp.
Man i cant tell you how much i loved this book, Hot sexy football player and a brooding sexy bodyguard, im in!
Lots of reviews i have read describe the characters as having angry sex and that didnt sit well with them, i saw it from a different POV.
I really liked Bryce and Tad they had this wonderful love/hate type spark between them at all times, so the sex was rough dirty and hot. They had complicated feelings for each other and the situation they were in so things were not going to be all sweet and rosie. And please, if you think that relationships and sex are always soft, gentle, with sunsets and butterflies your not living in the real world.
Tad and Bryce almost seemed to have too much chemistry and emotions between them and that seemed to come out in the bedroom.
I was on the edge of my seat in places with this book with the threat on Tad’s life, it was intense.
Devon has done such a great job on writing this book it is an amazing read, its real, raw, emotional and dirty. My kind of book!

Spencer Kaufman

When I signed on to the NHL, I promised to give 150% to the game. I’ve done that.

Little did I know, but they would ask more from me than merely my skill on the ice. The team wanted me to be their captain. It’s an honor, one I’ve done my best to fulfill. Although I can’t take all the credit, I was there to lead when we won the Stanley Cup.

I’m still at the helm now, when we’ve hit rock bottom. I know I have let my fears get in the way. I’ve let down the team, even if they don’t realize what I’ve done.

Now that the new season’s underway, I’m being called out. I deserve it. I can deal with that. It won’t be easy, but I’ll persevere.

What I can’t deal with is her.
She surprised me.
She came out of nowhere and blindsided me.

And there’s one serious issue.

Now that I have her, I refuse to let her go.

For some reason when i started this book i expected events to happen after the previous book Rush, but upon reading i discovered that the time line was set along side the events in Rush which threw me a little but once i go into it i found it easy to follow. I would suggest you read Rush first.
I adored Noelle she is a strong feisty woman that is not afraid to speak her mind, she is the kind of character you wish was one of your friends. Spencer is a super sexy and once he sets his sights on Noelle hes on a mission.
Noelle has a quirky slightly eccentric personality and i loved the fact that Spencer just went with it, he accepted her for her.
I am not a hockey, its not big in the UK, but this series makes me think we Brits are missing out!
I really liked the fact that Spencer never gave up in his pursuit of Noelle even when she was trying to block up in his way, that and being a great support and friend to his ex when she really needed someone. His character is a really good guy.
The plot, characters and the writing of this book are fantastic, you get so immersed in the story time just flies by.
Another wonderful addition to the Arrows series and a great book from the greatness that is Nicole Edwards.

Lucas had it all—popularity, a devoted girlfriend, a brotherly best friend, and a loving mother who would do anything for him. His life was right on course to be successful and fulfilling…until the crash changed everything.

Late at night, during a sudden downpour, three young lives are lost and Lucas, the lone survivor, is left to face the consequences. Surrounded by swirling gossip as to what really happened that fateful evening, Lucas now finds himself an outcast. Shunned by former friends, condemned by the people of his small town, and riddled by his own guilt and self-hatred, he struggles to find hope, find peace, and maybe, even find love.

What an amazing book, i dont think i can put into words how brilliant it is.
I was near tears more times than i can count reading this book. Lucas and Sawyer found such a strength within each other, the way there lives entwined was just beautiful.
Collision Course is such a emotional read and it touched me soul deep and left me feeling exhausted as i turned the very last page but i wouldnt have wanted it any other way. The ending had me a sobbing mess but with a smile on my face, i really needed that smile after such a crazy emotional journey with Lucas and Sawyer.
This is such a wonderful read.

Sela and Beck’s deliciously sinful tale of sex, lies, and vengeance reaches its explosive conclusion in the final chapter of Sawyer Bennett’s Sugar Bowl trilogy, which began with the novels Sugar Daddy and Sugar Rush.

For years Sela Halstead dreamed of revenge, but the quest for payback has been anything but sweet. Now, once again, she finds herself at the mercy of Jonathon Townsend, his hands crushing the very breath from her body. And even though she escapes with her life, Sela fears she may never recover. In desperate need of shelter and comfort, she runs to the one man she can trust. Beckett North has stood by Sela since the beginning. But can he handle the brutal truth?

Beck will do anything to protect what is his—and make no mistake, Sela belongs to him, heart and soul. The passion between them runs hot, even as their world begins to unravel. With the legacy of his ruthless business partner hanging in the balance, Beck stands to lose everything: his fortune, his family, his freedom. But each touch of Sela’s mouth on his skin, her nails down his back, makes it harder to let her go—and it might not even be his choice to make.

OMG!!!! what a way to end a series, i frickin love it, i think it is one of Sawyer’s best so far.
This book is edge of you seat, finger nail biting reading i could not read fast enough to get to the outcome of this book.
Sela and Beck’s story is adrenaline filled, sexy, full of plot twists, all consuming read that you will not put down till the very last page where you will be left a little speechless and so damn happy.
A must read trilogy!

A M/M Standalone Contemporary Romance.

Left at the altar. Dumped. Abandoned. Jilted.

That only happened in books. Fictional disasters like the kind I wrote. It wasn’t supposed to happen to me, Sam Stone. My life was supposed to be orderly. Organized. Perfect.

But I had no control over my fiancé’s decision to leave me.

What better place to be alone while nursing my broken heart than in paradise, right? Two weeks of sandy beaches and tranquil waters to quietly rethink my life.

That’s what I thought anyway—until Drew Mariano came along and shook everything up. He shook me up.

He made me forget myself. And that was good.

He made me want to take chances. And that was hard.

He made me feel high on life. And that was amazing.

But I was afraid…the higher I got…

the harder

I was going

to fall…

This book hooked me in right from the start, sam and Drew are wonderful well developed characters. I really enjoyed the friendship they built whilst in Hawaii. But the sparks that flew between these men was off the charts. The relationship that builds between Sam and Drew was such romantic and beautiful, with aspects of sweetness.
Chasing the high is a wonderful tale of two broken souls looking for healing and a sense of belonging, Sam found this in Drew and vice versa for Drew he found everything he was looking for in Sam.
The ending gosh i loved it!!!
A must read for the M/M romance lover.

Fresh off the heels of yet another bad relationship, Tristan Brewer is taking a break from men to try and figure out where he keeps going wrong. He knows his biggest fault–he leads with his heart, not his head–and that’s never going to change. But after several introspective weeks, he’s beginning to get a handle on things. That is, until badass heartthrob Alex Wells walks into his bar…

Alex has spent eight years in the Army, months in a hospital bed, and far too long hiding his sexual identity. He’s guilt-ridden, damaged, pissed off, and up for a Silver Star–for the incident that nearly cost him his life, and kept him from his grandmother’s funeral. But all he wants to do is forget his stint with the institution that allows but doesn’t necessarily accept, and live the life he’s always dreamed of.

The chemistry between Tristan and Alex ignites from the moment they meet, and the more time they spend together the hotter the flames become. But the closer Tristan gets, the more Alex’s walls go up, and when the two walk onto a military base, Tristan finds out Alex’s physical scars aren’t the ones that run the deepest.

Anybody that has read any of my past reviews knows that im a sucker for a great M/M read (pun intended!) and this one is a great one.
I adored Tristan and Alex, loved the way there relationship developed and thought the plot line was awesome.
the alpha/tango tattoo man my heart almost melted.
Tempting Tristan has a deep level of emotion and i felt that i really got to know these men throughout their story.
This book is an incredibly beautiful journey that is full of fear, trust, some painful moments, lust, love, and acceptance.
just a amazing read.

Alexander Bryant has lived his entire life making everyone else happy. After meeting Lincoln, will he have the courage to finally do what makes him happy?

Alexander – I like to imagine myself a rebel – an ass-kicker that takes what he wants regardless of what others think. I make my own path and flip off the people who don’t agree. I laugh in the face of conflict. Nobody tells me what to do.
In reality, everything about me is a lie – past, present, and future. The Bryant name requires certain things and all my decisions are based on those requirements. I like football, but the family name demands I love it. I want to be an artist, but the family name demands I be a lawyer. The family demands I fall in love with a nice girl, but I’m falling for, well, the opposite of nice AND girl. I’m a coward and a liar.

Lincoln – I like to imagine myself a loner – a cold heartless bastard that takes what he wants. I lived the biggest part of my life with parents that were ashamed of me for more reasons that one could begin to count, so I trust no one.
I have a low tolerance for bullshit and hate liars. So why did I go and fall in love with the biggest liar of them all?

Touchdown is a sexy, dirty, Captivating, heart warming and a wonderful love story. I fell in love with this book right from the first page. This is the first m/m romance book that i have read that incorporates BDSM and it is brilliant.
Alexander and Lincoln are total opposites but they work perfectly together, they compliment each.
I felt that Lincoln really helped Alex find his true self and to fight for what he wanted rather than what was chosen for him.
This book is kinky, fun, dirty and hot. Alex and Lincoln are crazy hot together.
This book was such a refreshing surprise and a brilliant read and well written, i will for sure be reading more from this author.

She was his best friend’s chubby sister.
He was the star football player.
It never made sense that he would want her, but he did.

It’s been ten years since Dyson Cole walked out of the barn after taking Ireland McKidd’s innocence with him.

Another notch in his belt.

Then he was gone.

Ireland has lost everything she’s ever cared about. She’s trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart, when the last person to obliterate it barges back into her life – literally.

Dyson has everything – money, power, sex appeal – a real life Adonis and women line up outside his door. But he’d gladly give up his whorish ways for the one woman he walked away from.

She’s wrecked, broken, a shell of the girl he once knew.

He’s incapable of ignoring what she means to him.

She’s irresistible.

He’s undeniable.

Zoey Derrick has given us a wonderful second chance love story about 2 people who met as children. Both characters have real life problems and emotions that just captivates you as the reader.
I really liked Ireland and Dyson as characters i felt the chemistry between them and i could really feel the connection they had.
Irresistibly Undeniable is sexy and sweet, it has fun and passionate elements and is crazy intense at times. This whole story is captivating romantic with touches of angst and drama thrown in. This story drew me in immediately and kept me guessing at what was going to happen, which is testament to Zoey’s writing.
Zoey Derrick as a writer never disappoints her books are always brilliant.
Great read.

Their chemistry on the field is undeniable. But can they ever be more than friends?

Jason Hawkins is about to throw the biggest Hail Mary pass of his career. If he can’t turn NFL recruiters’ heads this year, he’ll lose his shot at the one thing he’s ever been good at. But every quarterback needs a man he can count on down-field. For Jason, that man just might be the Tigers’ new receiver, Derek Griffin.

Four years ago, Derek nearly lost everything after being outed by his teammates. Now he finally has a chance to get it all back as a walk-on for Eastshore College… if he can resist his immediate attraction to the gorgeous and very straight star quarterback.

An instant connection during practice leads to an easy friendship that only grows stronger off the field. Derek is convinced friendship is all it’ll ever be, but a very confusing moment of impulse leaves both of them fumbling for answers about their relationship.

As curiosity gives way to passion and passion gives way to something deeper, Jason and Derek will have to tackle their own personal demons to bring home the win and earn their happy ending.

Strong Side is a steamy, standalone gay romance novel with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

I devoured Strong side and enjoyed it very much and will definitely be looking for more from this author for sure.
What makes this book great is the characters are likeable and there story is believable, but also this book is sweet, sexy and low on angst. Making for a wonderful captivating easy read. The friends to lovers aspect of this sports romance was written really well.
A great m/m read.

Cinderella never had to deal with this crap.

Jane isn’t entirely sure that Cinderella got such a raw deal. Sure, she had a rough start, but didn’t she eventually land a prince and a happily-ever-after? Meanwhile, Jane is busy waiting on her demanding, entitled sisters, running her cleaning business, and . . . yep, not a prince in sight. Until a party and a broken shoe incident leave Jane wondering if princes—or at least, a certain deliciously hunky billionaire—maybe do exist.

Except Brock Wellington isn’t anyone’s dream guy. Hell, a prince would never agree to be auctioned off in marriage to the highest bidder. Or act like an arrogant jerk—even if it was just a façade. Now, as Brock is waiting for the auction chopping block, he figures it’s karmic retribution that he’s tempted by a sexy, sassy woman he can’t have. But while they can’t have a fairy-tale ending, maybe they can indulge in a little bit of fantasy . . .

Let me first start by saying RVD is one of my go too authors and i love her books, but this one not so much.
For me Brock was so flat as a character and i found it really hard to warm up to him, his twin brothers on the other hand wee brilliant throughout the whole book.
I couldnt really feel any kind of connection between Brock and Jane.
Jane’s sisters were yuck! i couldnt get my head around the fact that they were supposed to be Lawyers but they were such air heads that spent money like water so Jane had to pay their debts, i mean WTH. They treated Jane like a dog and she let them!! I get that it was supposed to be a play on Cinderella but this book just didnt do it for me.
Grandma Nadine is still a hoot!
Will i read other books in this series? if there about Brant and Bentley probably.

Black Dawn can be read as a standalone and does not have a cliffhanger.

mmm hot sexy computer hackers yes please!
Parker and Lexi took me on an amazing ride and they really spice the Titan team up.
Parker is a character who has been around since the beginning of the series, he is the brains and tech guy behind the Titan ops, hes the quiet guy who seems to have stayed in the back ground Black dawn throws him in front and centre and i was so pleased to learn more about him as a character. Nothing will prepared you for discovering the true man Parker is and the responsibilities he has to make a success of each mission the Titan’s complete.
Lexi and parker were made for each other they are 2 parts of a whole.
This story is electric and you cannot put it down.
The Titan stories are in a world of there own you get taken away, drawn into a world where the hot alphas make your pantie melt right off ya’

Who would you become if you lost the only person who ever mattered?

For twenty-six year old Dylan Hopkins, the answer is easy. He’s become no one. Memories of the happier times are all he has left as he finds himself meandering numbly through his now dull life. Though he cares about his work and family dearly, he’s yet to let himself find love again. Afraid of letting go of what he once had, Dylan chooses to keep his heart buried, where it belongs, having died a long time ago.

Conner Michelson is about to change everything Dylan knows. He’s every bit the bad boy persona – tatted up, ex-MMA fighter, but after an injury leaves him unable to fight, he has to rethink his goals. Having just opened his own gym, Conner can cross his first major life accomplishment off his very short list. Next up: find a man he can settle down with and build a family. Seems simple enough – a dream most people have, but when he meets Dylan, his carefree, easy-going life is thrown into a tailspin.

Determined to keep Dylan in his life, Conner vows to resurrect Dylan’s long ago buried heart and let love live once more.

This is one of those books that truly make you feel every emotion that the characters feel, and i loved every page.
Let love live is a wonderful, heart-breaking and emotional read. This book is a story of a man losing his first love and finding it again, forgiveness and hope.
Dylan and Conner are well developed believable characters and their story is captivating. I full on cried while reading it and had to stop reading on occasion as the words were blurred.
wonderful captivating read, highly recommended.
